Quality Reviews
A Quality Review that highlights possible problems for quick
win process improvements:
- Identifies quality issues and their characteristics and potential impact on the business process
- Assesses the current status of quality in an organisation
- Identifies and prioritises quick win areas that can be quickly introduced
- Proposes longer term initiatives for sustained quality improvements
- Validates the quality of the process and delivery of business requirement and the quality gates to be used to assure development delivers required business criticality
- Examines all aspects of the project lifecycle to improve quality, reduce costs and risks and speed project delivery
A Quality Review carries out an analysis of the product or process components and documentation to identify mismatches between the specification and design. Then ensures that quality gates are established to provide sign off before progress to next stage of development or implementation.
A Quality Review makes sure that the objective of improving quality is related to business need by relating to:
- Achieving transparency and manageability of the business process by orientating them to customer need
- Identifies responsibilities and authorities in the organisation
- Improves business processes and the projects and development that are critical to their success by installing metrics to measure and report on corrective and preventative measures applied
- Sets quality criteria that must be followed
The Quality Review will identify key criteria that must be achieved to implement improved and profitable Quality Management and will assist in the implementation of a Quality Management System.
